Breaking news!

The founder and owner of Ethio Salam YouTube, journalist Theodore Asfaw, has been confirmed to have fled the country due to the regime's repeated arrests, harassment and surveillance for not doing his media work well.

It will be remembered that he was sentenced and imprisoned for 3 months on the grounds that he had coordinated the demonstration for going out in public and raising his voice regarding our people who were slaughtered by ISIS in Libya on April 14/2007 during the ECHR regime.

In addition, in 2008, journalist and political analyst Tewodros Asfaw, who paid a high price for being brutally imprisoned for being suspected of a terrorist crime, was imprisoned for 2 years and 4 months by the Central, Addis Ababa Police Commission and Kilinto without trial.

After that, he was released in March 2010, but at the same time, he was subjected to repeated arrests, abuses and harassment by the Prosperity regime, which claimed to be "a force for change".

Journalist and political analyst Theodore Asfaw is known as the voice of the people by founding a YouTube communication network called Ethio Salam.

Before that, he has been working as a political analyst in Abai Media and Addis Style Media.

After establishing the Ethio Peace YouTube, he has been recognized as a strong media person who has received great acceptance and praise from his many listeners in a short period of time for his efforts to reach the public, especially for his sharp criticism of the problems faced by the system and for his struggle that the right to freedom of expression should be implemented in Ethiopia.

He was one of the journalists who were being put under high universal pressure by the people of the prosperity system who did not take a firm stand for the supremacy of ideas and the freedom of the media, just like the many government media institutions that have done it.

Following this, the journalist Theodores, who was arrested, harassed and mistreated by the people of the regime on several occasions to prevent him from doing his media work, was released shortly after his release on April 5/2015. Information obtained from the family indicated that he was forced to leave the country and migrate.

Finally, it has been confirmed that the journalist and political analyst Theodore Asfaw fled the country on July 13, 2015 due to the lack of favorable conditions to work.
